опубліковано 30 December 2022 року, 13:04

The verification of seafarers' qualification documents will now be conducted on vrf.marad.gov.ua. A new system for verification has been launched to accelerate and enhance the process of establishing the validity of seafarers' documents. You can follow the detailed instructions pertaining to the interaction with the system to further obtain verification from the Shipping Administration.

Step one: REGISTRATION

On the official website of the Shipping Administration (https://marad.gov.ua), you can select the section "Verification" and follow the link. To create a new account, you can click the button "Create an account". After filling in the form with personal data, you can finally click the button "Create account[TM31]". If you successfully register in the system, the message "Your account has been successfully created" will appear at the top of the page.

You can provide the following data in the form:

Step two: DOCUMENT VERIFICATION REQUEST

After the document has been sent for verification to the Shipping Administration, the message "Your request has been successfully created" will appear in the Personal Cabinet. The same message will be sent to the email address provided during registration.

Note! To verify each separate document, the form is filled out separately.

Enter the necessary data in the form depending on the type of document:

Step three: VERIFICATION RESULTS

You can check the status of the request in your online account. There you can find one of the four status options in the result of consideration of your request: "Approved", "Rejected", "Being processed", "Canceled". In order to cancel your request, you should click on the button in the upper right corner of the request.

You may find the results pertaining to the verification of the relevant request in your online account and on your e-mail. If the document is valid, the status of the document will change to "Valid" in your online account, and it will be available for download from your online account in Ukrainian and English languages. The respective letter with the verification results will also be sent to the e-mail address that you indicated during the registration. If the document is not valid, the status of the document will change to "Not valid" in your online account, and it will be available for download from your online account in Ukrainian and English languages. The respective letter with the verification results will also be sent to the e-mail address that you indicated during the registration. If the document verification request form was filled out incorrectly, the status "Rejected" will appear in the section "Requests" of your online account, indicating the reason for the rejection. The respective letter with the reason for the rejection will also be sent to the e-mail address that you indicated during the registration.

It should be emphasized that according to the new certification procedure in Ukraine, the drawing up and verification of documents is the responsibility of the Shipping Administration. We are actively engaging our partners in order to accelerate the launch of the online procedure for drawing up the seafarers' documents, what should reduce the impact of the human factor.
