Yurii Kononenko has graduated from the Odesa National Maritime University, programme subject area “Organization of Transport Operations and Maritime Transport Management”, qualification “Transport Engineer”;

the Odesa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine, programme subject area “Public Administration”, master’s degree in public administration;

the Odesa Polytechnic National University, programme subject area “Road Transport”, master’s degree.

Career:

2013-2018: Department of Transport and Communications Infrastructure, Odesa Regional State Administration;

2018-2025: State Enterprise “Ukraine Sea Ports Authority”, management positions;

on 25 August 2025, Yurii Kononenko was appointed the First Deputy Head of the State Service for Maritime, Inland Waterway Transport and Shipping of Ukraine.
