The Shipping Administration has taken measures to implement resolution MSC.560(108) of the International Maritime Organization, adopted on 23 May 2024, that introduces amendments to the Seafarers’ Training, Certification and Watchkeeping Code (STCW Code) entering into force on 01 January 2026. The IMO Secretary-General Arsenio Domínguez was duly informed thereof by letter dated 11 November 2025 No. 2963/11-1/14- 25.
